Mike Johnson, We Hardly Knew Ye

It sounds like Mike Johnson gets to make the long flight home of failure. He was roughed up in a pair of relief outings last week and SK has seen enough.

According to Patrick at NPB Tracker, former Yomiuri Giants pitcher Ken Kadokura is on his way to SK. It sounds like Patrick thinks Ken still has something left in the tank. He can't be much worse than this guy. I'm not sure where he fits in. Most likely he'll start in the bulllpen.

As far as I know, Doosan is still looking for a replacement for Matt Randel. Scott Elarton, anyone?

Johnson is not a bad pitcher, but from what I have seen of Korean baseball (which is WBC/Olympic/Exhibitions only) he pitches right into the skill-set they have.

As for CJ, I don't think he is a starter, get him in the pen, let him throw 4-5 pitches.
