7/10 - 7/12 Weekend Roundup: KIA vs Doosan

On Friday night, Aquilino Lopez kept his team in the game by hanging on to a slim 2-1 lead during his 7 innings(118 pitches, 80 strikes) of work. Senor Smoke gave up only 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out 8. Immediately after Lopez was taken out, the KIA bullpen surrendered the tying run. After leading off with a single and advancing to third on a Kim Hyeon-su basehit, Doosan center fielder Jeong Su-bin was able to score on an RBI groundout by Kim Dong-joo to tie the game. The score remained tied until the bottom of the 9th. With the bases loaded and 2 outs, KIA shortstop Lee Hyeon-gon was drilled in the elbow by a Yoo Dong-hoon pitch. KIA won on a walkoff HBP.

Both Saturday and Sunday were washed out. Rain, rain go away.
