Post-Christmas Transaction Roundup...

I've had family in town for the past week or so and I've been too busy to give the blog the attention it deserves. Sorry, sports fans.

The trade of Heroes outfielder Lee Taek-geun to LG for players and cash was vetoed. This is the 2nd time in as many seasons that a trade involving the Heroes and cash has been vetoed. Until they finish paying off their "franchise fee," the Heroes are banned from accepting cash in return for players.

The Korea Times gives a solid round up of the comings and goings of the non-Koreans in the KBO. After the success of Rick Guttormson and Aquilino Lopez with KIA, non-Korean pitchers are more popular than ever.

I'm surprised that the Lions re-signed both Francisco Cruceta and Brandon Knight. I guess Ryan Sadowski is going to fill the Jon Adkins role with Lotte. I'm really surprised that Cliff Brumbaugh is looking for a contract. A full season of Gary Glover and Ken Kadokura could given the SK Wyverns insane pitching depth for the 2010 season.
