H/T to Naver Sports.
The Lotte Giants announced that they will not be bringing back manager Jerry Royster for the 2011 season. A group of Lotte officials met with Royster in the US and it sounds like they were disappointed in the the Giants lack of postseason success. Three other members of Jerry's coaching staff were also let go.
In three seasons with Lotte, Royster earned a 204-185-3 record as manager and was wildly popular in and around Busan. In 2008 Royster had inherited a team that hadn't seen the playoffs since 2000 and got them back to the post season in his first year. The Giants qualified for the playoffs in all three seasons under Royster, but were knocked out in the first round each year.

Pretty unfair, but that is professional sports. It felt like they were building something special in Busan, with a lot of good young talent. I am sure Lotte brass know what they are doing...
