W - Kim Kwang-sam (2-0), L - Travis Blackley, S - Kim Kwang-su (3)
LG HR - None KIA HR - None
LG starter Kim Kwang-su was actually fairly mediocre. Kim threw 6 2/3 innings(84 pitches, 51 strikes) and only gave up one run. The KIA offense was making contact, but everything seemed like it was right at an LG Twin. Kim allowed four hits and one walk while striking out three.
KIA starter Travis Blackley was also fairly mediocre. Big Trav tossed six innings(110 pitches, 67 strikes) of two-run baseball. Travis gave up five hits and four walks while striking out four.
All the runs in this game came during the sixth inning.
In the top of the inning, KIA put a runner on second with two outs. KIA scored a run on a single by DH Lee Beom-ho. Lee was caught in a rundown between first and second and was tagged out to end the inning.
In the bottom of the inning, LG put runners on the corners with no outs. Left fielder Jeong Eui-yoon poked a single into left field to tie the game at one. Travis Blackley was able to get DH Park Yong-taek to ground into a double play, but the go-ahead run advanced to third. Blackley got a nother ground ball, but third baseman Kim Ju-hyeong appeared to have a hole in his glove and the ball bounced into left field. The go-ahead run scored easily.
