The Houston Astros released 28-year old righty Fernando Nieve on Wednesday and it sounds like he'll be joining the Doosan Bears soon.
Fernando's MLB stats can be found here. Fernando had spent the first month of the 2011 season with Houston's AAA affiliatein Oklahoma City. He owns a 7.63 ERA and 2.08 WHIP in 15 1/3 innings of work.
I'm not going to lie. If I had a choice between spending a year on the 2011 Dis-Astros or the 2011 Doosan Bears, I'd probably go with Doosan.
