Doosan Manager Kim Kyeong-moon Resigns

Doosan manager manager Kim Kyeong-moon announced his resignation on Monday. Doosan assistant coach Kim Kwang-su will handle the Bears' managerial duties in the inhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifterim.

Doosan has been a perennial playoff contender, but they've fallen to seventh place after 57 games in the 2011 season. Their record currently stands at 23-32-2 and they're 8.5 games out of the 4th playoff spot.

This was Kim's eighth season as Bears skipper. Kim has compiled a 512-432-16 career record in the regular season and he's only had a team finish lower than third place once in his career. He's taken the Bears to the Korean Series three times and lost all three series.
