7/17 - 7/19 Weekend Roundup: Seoul Heroes vs. Doosan

7/17 - PPD
7/18 - PPD
7/19 - Doosan 12, Heroes 8

Both starting pitchers were absolutely pummeled on Sunday. It was up to a battle of the bullpens and Doosan's was slightly less awful than the Heroes. The Heroes pitching staff gave up 14 hits, but only 1 walk. 8 different Bears drove in runs. Doosan was lead by infieder Lee Won-seok. Lee went 2-4 with a double, a homer, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Lee's 3-run homer in the 3rd inning gave Doosan a 7-2 advantage. One of the few positives for the Heroes was center fielder Lee Taek-geun. Lee went 2-5 with a double, a homer, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. This game wasn't nearly as exciting as a 12-8 final sounds. It was paced like a Red Sox/Yankees game in September. I'm convinced that both sides threw well over 500 pitches each and changed pitchers every other at bat.
