6/11 - SK 4, Doosan 2
6/12 - PPD
6/13 - Doosan 9, SK 3
Doosan and SK were the lucky ones. Everyone else had to play on Saturday in front of sparse crowds. The Bears and Wyverns got to stay home and watch football thanks to the awful weather in Seoul over the weekend.
On Friday night SK DH Lee Ho-joon hit a three-run homer to give SK an early lead and SK starter Gary Glover turned in a quality start. The Glove tossed seven innings(105 pitches, 62 strikes) of two-run baseball. Glover allowed five hits and four walks while striking out seven. Doosan left fielder Kim Hyeon-su hit a two-run homer in the first inning for SK's only runs. Kim finished 1-2 with two walks, two RBIs and one run scored.
Doosan took some measure of revenge on Sunday when they beat the tar out of SK starter Ken Kadokura and the shallow end of the SK bullpen. Doosan first baseman Choi Joon-seok went 2-4 with a double, a homer, three RBIs and one run scored. Doosan catcher Yang Eui-ji also enjoyed a solid afternoon. Yang finished 2-4 with a homer, two RBIs and one run scored. Doosan starter Kelvin Jimenez reaped the benefits of the early run support and cruised to a W. Jimenez tossed 5 2/3 innings(78 pitches, 46 strikes) of one-run baseball. Kelvin gave up five hits and three walks while striking out one.
