KBO Announces The Pre-Season Schedule

The KBO teams have been busy playing practice games against each other and some of the Japanese clubs in warm locations for the past month or so. Now, it's time to actually play a scheduled game in Korea.

Pre-season games start on 3/12 and run through 3/27. The schedule is right here. Korean only, but the logos should indicate who is playing and when.

Preseason is indeed free again this year - at least in Daejeon. There was quite a turnout for the first game on Saturday. Anyone know any attendance figures? Totals, averages, etc... always been interested, never seen any stats on that.

Attendance stats are usually on boxscores during the regular season. Even if you don't know Korean, you can guess what the numbers mean. Actually, if you don't know Korean, reading Korean boxscores and game recaps is a great way to learn the language!

Pre-season attendance figures and other stuff are reported pretty sporadically..

Right on man. I know about the box score numbers, was just curious about season totals; who leads the league in total attendance, average per game... (I'd assume Lotte) But it'd be interesting to see team totals plotted over the years too. My first year, Jay Davis was killing for my Eagles and seats were packed; up to last year, after losing Kim TaeKyun, Lee BumHo and over 80 games, our attendance was pitiful.
