Hanhwa 5, Samsung 1

Hanhwa starter Kim Hyeok-min and a pair of Hanhwa reliever limited the Lions offense to only two hits and one walk. Kim gave up all the baserunners while throwing six innings(81 pitches, 48 strikes). One of the hits by Samsung was a solo homer by catcher Chae Sang-byeong. Kim also struck out six.
The Hanhwa offense was lead by left fielder Choi Jin-haeng and first baseman Jeong Won-seok. Both went 2-4 with a run scored and an RBI.
LG 3, Nexen 2
W - Park Hyeon-joon (6-1), L - Kim Seong-tae (0-4), S - Lim Chang-gyu (1)
LG HR - None Nexen HR - None
LG picked up a run in the first inning on a RBI single from DH Park Yong-taek. The Twins added two more runs in the third inning thanks to a wild pitch from Nexen starter Kim Seong-bae with a runner on third. LG then added a RBI single from catcher Cho In-seong.
LG starter Park Hyeon-joon threw seven solid innings(99 pitches, 58 strikes) of one-run baseball. Park gave up only four hits and two walks while striking out six.
Nexen picked up a few late runs off the LG bullpen, but never really threatened to take a lead.
KIA 8, Lotte 6
W - Yang Hyeon-jung (4-2), L - Lim Kyeong-wan (1-2), S - Lee Sang-hwa (1)
KIA HR - Kim Ju-hyeong (1) Lotte HR - Jeon Joon-woo (1)
Lotte rallied for six runs in the fourth inning. The rally started with a solo homer from center fielder Jeon Joon-woo, but things got out of hand when left fielder Kim Seong-hyeon badly mis-played a ball in left. Kim dove to early and completely missed a line drive. The ball rolled to the wall and the flood gates opened. The strangest thing was that Kim wasn't charged with an error. Hong Seon-heun was give a clean triple.
KIA starter Yang Hyeon-jung was stuck having all six runs in the inning count against him.
KIA picked up three-runs in the fifth inning with some help from the Lotte D. One run was already in on a RBI single from third baseman Lee Beom-ho when Lotte shortstop Hwang Jae-gyun made a key error to allow a run and keep the inning going.
KIA took the lead in the seventh inning when left fielder Kim Sang-hyeon hit an RBI single and first baseman Kim Ju-hyeong blasted a three-run homer to give KIA an 8-6 lead.
KIA reliever Lee Sang-hwa recorded the final six outs for the save. Lee allowed only one walk and recorded five ground ball outs.
SK 4, Doosan 2
W - Gary Glover (3-1), L - Kim Seong-bae (1-3), S - Lee Seung-ho (1)
SK HR - None Doosan HR - None
SK starter Gary Glover threw five scoreless innings(86 pitches, 52 strikes). Glover allowed only four hits and one walk while striking out five. Glover recorded seven outs via the ground ball.
Doosan starter Kim Seong-bae was chased after getting knocked around for three runs on five hits in the first inning. SK left fielder Park Jae-sang, third baseman Choi Jeong and catcher Jeong Sang-ho each had RBI singles during the rally.
Doosan picked up a couple of runs, but never really threatened to take the lead.
