Korea Clinches A Spot In the Olympics!!!

Olympic Qualifying Tournament, Game 5

South Korea 12, Germany 1

With the victory, Korea has clinched a spot in the Olympics. It looks like Taiwan and Canada will claim the other two.

At the plate....

Lee Seung-yeop has absolutely torched international pitching this spring. He went 2-3 with 3 more RBI against an overmatched German squad. Lee Yong-gyu went 3-4 with 3 runs scored and has been a major catalyst for the Koreans throughout the tournament.

On the mound....

Son Min-han was awesome again. He went 6 strong innings in this one, giving up only one run and striking out 6. There isn't much to report on the bullpen. Woo Gyu-min worked a 1-2-3 7th to secure the slaughter.
